The seller of the discs above is dreaming on some of his prices, but the Beatles mono set at $199 seems below market value?
As to the Denon Bluray player, it was released in UK in 2009 with a retail of £4,500! Ten years old now though.

If I hadn’t been bidding on something else (not music or Hifi) I would have been tempted to bid higher. One day!

quite a collection but yes, quantity over quality. ambitious pricing Q - if an auction doesn't even get reach the no reserve opening ask, why do sellers think they will get a sale by making an offer at a higher price ?

Looks like a fair amount of dross for a start "I have never seen a finer collection of records LP in my entire life that was built on the value of the featured artists, variety of musical genres, and condition of the LPs. This is possibly the finest LP collection in the world in the range up to 10,000 albums." the man obviously hasn't got around much.

I can only imagine they are trying to send a message to any watchers that they won't be dropping their price?

No way the pictured racks in the big set would add up to 10000 records. 3000 max

haha 17 unanswered questions. 9.5K for a completely unplayable frisby. Sounds legit OMG it gets better $500 for a scratched up version of David Bowie Pinups with no cover. MJ Thriller for 3.5K. Man what ever they are smoking this season in Whakatane it must be good

Nextel turns into an awful tacky mess after a decade or so... It does. There’s a British (?) guy online that refurbs, repairs, resells these almost exclusively and resprays as part of his process. I’ve seen a pair in lime green and I gotta say, I thought they looked awesome. I still have half a pair of SL600s here that I’ve never put in a claim on and am almost considering throwing to TM for parts - but still can’t quite let go. They are an incredible speaker.
