A cartridge spacer is nothing new.
The promo video is a hoot ! At first I was thinking why did he remove the arm to fit the spacer, then I remembered it's a Rega arm, to adjust VTA you need spacers
Re-positioning the cartridge to match the marks is another fail, like phones and computers, it's best to set up fresh.

Also, he needs to up-end down the tonearm, in order to do all that trimming of screws to length. I'd go buy some nylon M2.5 screws & just try them first

Using two sets of screws doesn't seem like a good idea ?

That may be a key part of the design - ie. the cartridge is affixed to the Houdini device with one set of screws, then affixed to the h'shell with different screws.

Suspected that might be your answer. Have you used your one again in recent memory ?

...“The problem you never knew you had” and all turntables suffer from it...
as is often said: "if it's too good a deal... (in this case you'll pay for it and at $599, very handsomely)

If I were truly bored and had nothing better to do id be inclined to test the theory by putting a bit of 3m foam double sided tape between my headshell and cart to see if it works: but TBH I cant be arsed. I'll wait for Citroens test.

If you look at Arthur Khoubessarian's work - historically with Pink Triangle & since 2005 with The Funk Firm - there's been a lot of fresh thinking & consistent emphasis on low energy storage, vibrational dissipation, etc in the realm of phono playback. So, you'd expect his products to be effective in those areas - or at least you'd expect that the products would have to be convincing to justify their prices. Until someone's actually tried one, I'd reserve judgement. The Funk Firm retailers offer a '30 day money back trial' - so who's first up?
