Now that 'U-SPIN revolving Record Storage System' looks a winner:

Haven't noticed that before from his site. 👍
Sounds very handy but hate to think how much it costs.
They're the sole importers of my Sugden phono.

A couple of interesting brands under SOUL TO SOLE Audio's distribution in NZ are: - DS AUDIO optical phono cartridges. - ALLNIC (Korea), unique MC cartridges & acclaimed LCR & tube phono stages.

Quite heavy, I would say - bamboo wood + 1500+ records equals 350+kgs, is my guess.

They do include a warning
"The units are purchased per layer and can be assembled up to 5 layers high. This size will have a weight of about 400kg (880 pounds) so make sure it is placed in a suitable spot."

Looks like a good idea ..... and then .. wouldn't want that stack anywhere a decent earthquake could hit. Oh, wait, that's most of NZ. Also you'd need to be lying on your stomach to check the LPs on the lower level. This could be rectified by putting it on a plinth. Oh, wait, what about the earthquakes? O.K. Two layers on a plinth and that's it!

As our esteemed DL colleague mgb says: "you old fellas need all the exercise you can get" I like the display port-holes too: nifty teaser/reminder option
