Vinyl audiophiles might have some record cleaning isopropyl alcohol that they can use.
Mix with a bit of aloe vera gel to make a nice sanitiser.

Yes indeed - as I no longer use isopropyl alcohol to clean records, I will use it to make hand sanitiser 3:1 (WHO recomm.) with Aloe Vera gel (if I can get some of the latter). Some of us in-house still need to drive about & go to work in the coming few days at least, so hand sanitiser in the car is advisable.

Into the depths of my record collection which has yielded a few suprises. Following a thread on post punk on Analog Planet I started yesterday with the Au Pairs "Playing with a different sex" LP. Great Lp must play that more often, then onto the Passions who were a fav band back in the day, started with "Michael and Miranda" on the Stunn label which I found I had 2 of, Then onto "Sanctuary" which was the LP of theirs that I absolutely loved at the time. Found I didnt really remember it at all ! Then onto Cabaret Voltaire " Voice of America", Quite enjoyable in an angular type of way.
Today im having a swamp pop day starting with the Neville Brothers " Fire on the bayou".

VPI launches Hand Sanitiser OTOH, as mentioned on this forum recently, if you need sanitiser & if you happen to have isoporpyl alcohol, the WHO formulation can be mixed up - 75% IPA or ethanol + 25% glycerine/glycerol (or aloe vera gel or such). Add a few drops of fragrant oil (coconut, tea tree, etc) for moisturising & fragrance if you wish. If you happen to have strong 150% proof vodka, that'll work  (IPA or soap detergent, etc effectively breaks down the Covid 'virus'.)

Finding it surprisingly easy to forgo ordering anything. Haven't bothered looking online for music or books nearly all month. The dollar is crap and deliveries may happen, sometime, maybe.
Another fine day here so this part time audiophile is busy terrorising his garden and spending much time contemplating life and his pumpkins in the shade of a large Oak tree. Soundtrack Tui and fantail interspersed with the neighbours skill saw.
