Something like that. Devin Campbell (musical polymath, and sometime leading man from "extreme metal band Strapping Young Lad" (more tea, vicar?)) has some downtime with fellow Canadian Ché Aimee Dorval, and this is the product...

38 years ago my little brother gave me a record for my birthday. i just gave it a bit of a wash and put it on. it's still pretty good. and has never sounded as good.

I was given it on CD - originally released on the 'pledgemusic' funding platform, and I gather a vinyl followed the CD release at a later date. From a quick search, vinyl copies may still be available here (http://www.jsrdirect.com/bands/casualties-of-cool-self-titled-12in-vinyl), but I did a dry run on an order and with the cheapest postage it comes to over US$50...

Found that site and did the same, so was wondering where you got your copy. So the age old CD or LP Question ? I enjoy proggy sort of things most on LP so may just plump for that and be done. I think that site was USD too ?

Yes indeed, USD. I took the dry run as far as Paypal before abandoning ship, and it was showing NZ$41 for the vinyl alone. I think it may be a double LP, but even so ~$70 is getting up there...

simon - that was my fist Van M album.
My NZ copy never sounded great, but I think I finally managed to get a imported s/h copy - must check (clearly I haven't played it for a while )
