Citroen 's loudspeaker stat panels above, look like they have adjustable tilt. They can be adjusted for forward tilt by only about 5 degrees. The newer X panels have different feet which allow 11 degrees tilt. Owen's correctly spotted that I've increased my forward tit by putting footers under the rear spikes

robertr - that's clean & compact, some equipment details please colinf - tidy bench indeed, I'm reminded that my variac is on the check/repair pile. Some desktop monitors? Citroen - I was referring to the tilted LH panel, your stereo image will be lopsided

A neighbour once had Spendor SP2s (originals with Scanspeak(?) tweeters), I became very familiar with them & at the time, I was using SP1s. Quite a big 'desktop' box

Whoah, is that a dedicated stand for your Dr Tβs... a tower of power(conditioners)?
The Nakβ just gets the bookshelf. π
How does the new DCS streamer sound?

Got a grand or two to spend MW? Back then, it was not that sort of $$ of course - but it was still 'design-store' priced, less industry-margin - and, I was youthful, unburdened by house & family, in the reckless 80s before The Crash

Yeah I ran out of space for the Mr Ts, so made a little stand thing for them. The dCS is amazing. I wasn't really prepared for how good it would sound actually, but all the hype is pretty accurate. The Nak likes being up high.

Hi Deano. This all seems very nice, but I can't see where you'd charge your UE Boom for serious listening sessions?

Hi Deano. This all seems very nice, but I can't see where you'd charge your UE Boom for serious listening sessions? Same place as you charge yours remember we got 2 for 1 deal and had to read the manual together I do remember. At first the manual seemed like it was written in another language... It really was that tricky to decipher! But then we turned over the leaflet and found the part that's printed in English, so it only ended up taking us 35 minutes to learn how to turn on Bluetooth and 'download some high quality MP3's for testing'.
Heady days, but a necessary step upon the path towards audio nirvana.

Chord M-Scaler, a natty, if highly controversial bit of kit from designer Rob Watts. I canβt comment, not having experienced one but it has certainly caused a few mouths to froth over here. Well if it makes one happy..... Those beautiful Klipsches must have satisfying dynamics, Deano.
