I wonder if squeezing over 50 minutes onto one lp fails to do the music justice. The RSD version is over 3 sides so although the mastering and cutting may be the same the end result will be different. No mastering or cutting info your your original lp on Discogs .
The original cd notes mastered by Joe Gastwirt , same as the triple vinyl and your vinyl version so maybe it comes down to choices made by the cutting engineer.

Yes, on my original English manuf copy, the groove area is cut to 59mm inner radius - groove cut most LPs finishes closer to 70mm rad.

Some more interesting items seen at RG: Pure-Analogue.com / Speaker's Corner Records appears to be a German 're-release' vinyl record company. From their website: Are your records completely analogue? Yes! This we guarantee! As a matter of principle, only analogue masters are used, and the necessary cutting delay is also analogue. All our cutting engineers use only Neumann cutting consoles, and these too are analogue. The only exception is where a recording has been made – either partly or entirely – using digital technology, but we do not have such items in our catalogue at the present time.

A 20 track overview of Bowie's career? An all-the-'singles' album, from the beginning, to Blackstar? (I see that JB HiFi have this for $36)
