I have a classic Jacob Jensen designed integrated amplifier by Bang and Olufson - the Beolab 1700. This was the last integrated amplifier made by B&O. The sides are missing the wood veneer and the top has some watermarks but it still makes music. All the controls work OK except for the balance, which appears to be a little off. I've replaced the blown power light with an led and restrung the volume control.
I've included adapters for the 3 five-pin DIN inputs (tuner, tape, phono). The speaker connections are 2-pin DIN design.
Details of the amp can be found at beocentral.com/beolab1700
The amp has many features including speaker A and B or both (with ambiophonic feature). It has a loudness button and sliders for treble, bass, and balance.
It would make a good project if you wanted to restore it to a minter as it just needs the veneer and balance seeing to. Of course, you might also want to recap it if you are that way talented and inclined.
I've seen minters being sold at hundreds of dollars but I would be happy with $50 ono.
