Never thought I would do this, but am selling my beloved KEF LS50s.
Used in a pet free, smoke free home, carefully looked after by me since new. Haven’t had a lot of use, as sat unused for quite a while before deciding they sounded a tad better than my Mission 753s. Not sure of hours, listen about 3 hours a week, and been in use less than a year. Edit, did some research and can confirm they have only been in full time use since end of June 2017. Apart from a listen when I first bought them they were in dry warm storage until then.
Finished in gloss black, look unmarked (I can’t see any marks). Edit, when packing away noted marks on the bottoms left by the plastic lugs on the stands - little round marks less than the size of a five cent coin. Are the next edition after the anniversary model, identical build and specs, but does not have the words 50th anniversary on them.
Selling to upgrade my cartridge. Current retail, depending on the store, $1500-$1999.
Many rave reviews out there, a Stereophile recommended class A product.
Price to you (going on what fetching on TM where they seldom pop up) $1100.
If you live within the boundary of Far North District Council, can arrange delivery or meet up. Also make occasional trips to Whangarei, otherwise will courier in original box and packaging.
Been trying to upload photos, but the image loader is playing up. Will try again soon. Photos up, in the photo looking down at the tops, the “mark” on the R spkr is a reflection of a clock on the wall!
