Sony MCI Professional 1/4" Reel-to-reel recorder/player. This is the real deal. If you have enjoyed music recorded in the 70s or 80s by the likes of Fleetwood Mack, Rolling Stones & many others you have heard what an MCI recording sounds like. A US company Mara Machines restores MCI players & sells them all over the world from $5000.00 USD upwards. This machine is in great condition for its age but does need restoring.
It was sold to me as going but unfortunately something is not right with the control mechanism. I have had it working & it sounds wonderful but am selling it as is where is. Luckily they are completely modular so restoration is easy.
Too many decks so time to let this one go to a new home.
