The classic "Line Array". May have been designed by a Pro/PA sound engineer Great horiz dispersion, limited vertical dispersion.

i miss the impression of realistic height the medium/big maggies produced. back in the hp days of tas he was always complaining about the unreliability of the big irs speakers. more line sources

I heard a complete Macintosh system when visiting my daughter in Singapore (not hers! - but at a retailer in the audio precinct) - mega $ - the speakers were smaller than those in this post. an impressive sounding system, but alas, needed a far bigger room i.m.o. (b.t.w. - no problems with height impressions with Sanders ESLs

Just imagine the time youd need to set aside every week for dusting them...!!
Having said that they clearly think they have a slot in the market for such hideous things! Maybe the Don is going to have some in his palace of gold and chince..
