Thanks man. Appreciated. And I think I'll be happy enough to let other people buy that one. Seems a wee bit underdeveloped and I'm not certain what they're hoping to bring to the table (so to speak) with this design. What does it offer that we don't already have? What would make us choose this over other proven and similarly priced tables? Time will tell I suppose.

Looks a bit industrial to me. Dont like the look of the arm around the pivot although it may well work just fine. Interesting to see the Music Hall(nee Project) Speed Controller being offered. I believe Project have discontinued that particular version of the controller, building it into their higher end products instead. Schiit have had a some what different image from main stream manufacturers since their inception, their name basically saying it all really. I've never tried one of their products but their reputation seems fairly good and no doubt this TT will appeal to those flag waving Americans who firmly believe in the home grown product. Could be the missing link between a U Turn Orbit and an entry level VPI for home boys.
It's getting to be a very crowded market place though and getting a balance between performance and cost that will appeal to their target market could be a hard act. You don't have to spend long on some of the more populous forums to see that there are so many agendas being pushed as an absolute truth that it must be incredibly confusing for some one wanting to dip their toe into the vinyl pool.

Schiit carry some cred with Moffat & Stoddard leading them - although Moffat does not present like a marketer's dream
