The iFi stuff is nice. And affordable.
I like their little iPurifiers. I fell into the Dark Side a few yrs ago & built a DAC which was designed by Thorsten Loesch (AMR/iFi designer), however I didn't pursue it to sounding to my liking. Maybe now, one of their SPDIF iPurifiers might clean up the CDT-to-DAC connection nicely & revive my project? (Is that a USB iPurifier on the back of the iDSD above?) I'm a bit confused as there seems to be a lock attached to the laptop but the gear is left free for the yoinking!? Priorities askew much?

Yes, iFi gears are affordable and sounded better than their purchase price seems to indicate.
There are not able to be tied down/locked down, that's why only PC are locked. PC are left on the desk more or less permanently. There iFi and BayerDynamic headphone I put away or taken home every day. Yes the two items cost a lot more than the laptop. No, no iPurifier. Have not tried. No, no turntable here. Yes, I should file that pile. (Probably in the bin!!) When travelling, I have a Questyle QP1R. Very impressive (sound wise).  upload images
