Ah, simpler times, when Ivor was King, I was young and the earth was flat.

Oh noes ! Poor girl listen to Mariah Carey, Celine, Benny or Beyonce ? And what is this girl listening to? Probably the photographer saying
"Spread your legs a little bit more, darling, and try not to damage the records" "And look at the camera" What a hopeless photo. A failed art shot, IMO. From the old Retro Hi-Fi Girl Friday series of posts.
(I preferred his earlier blog look.) (there might be later versions, maybe he changed it this year.) Now this woman is clearly searching out a specific track - That to me looks more candid than posed. But I still like the mystery of the Polaroid shot above. OK, let's move on, nothing to see here ... :=})

It is annoying me that they have spelt Prohibited wrong!
Did they have CDs in 1978?

I didn't see your reply until just recently now with your new post! A feature of recent posts dropping off the front page, or superseded by new ones, + - frequency of visits...
Yes my suspicions were slightly aroused, but I had (from wherever) saved to Pictures/Amusing quickly, with hardly a glance, and posted up again.
I'm annoyed that I hadn't noticed "Prohibitted" before doing so! And you're quite right - CD debut 1st October 1982. So it's a technically accomplished fake, busted by bad spelling and falsifiable information.
I went looking for "county code 1978 Sec. 78-34" and found this, which appears to come from the delightfully named Gwinnett County.
from
Presumably from somewhere within
Suburban from Atlanta in Georgia it seems.
So it was a fine but flawed fake, perhaps, it looks to be. It'll be interesting to see what other fake news ordinances or research results continue to arrive, bombard us, collectively.
Or are seen individually? Cheers!!

What's that turntable?
I can only name the Graham Slee Reflex phono.

Fail.
I see so many promo, show photos where the turntable is setup behind a line up of gear that must be carefully stepped over in order to play records.

I agree, I would never wear my heels near an uncaged SET amp on the floor And as for short Cheong Sams - a contradiction in terms & style, ugh.

I totally agree, I've seen it even in show reports I think too. Totally absurd, which is why I marked it as humour. Everything is wrong with it. Well, almost everything!
At least in tiptoed stiletto heels she is navigating to not break the glass! ;=})
Why would you put SS or valve power amps on the floor in front of the equipment sources anyway?
Just ergonomically weird... maybe some folks have reasons to do so? Why?
