Can't understand the set up problems some reviews seem to encounter with the Wand arm. Do they not read the instructions?

I find it a little more fiddly than other arms to set up, but with a bit of practice it becomes much easier.

Reviewers don't read instructions unless they have to Try setting up an original Well Tempered from scratch !

Real world test as most don't read instructions unless forced to.

Takes a bit of thought but I wouldn't say it was difficult. I was more upset the supplied steel alignment guage left a (fortunately very light) scratch on my OMA graphite mat.

Sorry only caught up on this thread, been moving into the new build house... Yes, very pleased with the Class A rating both for turntable and arm. Obviously less amused by the mentions of how "some people find it hard to install" (Michael Trei carefully didn't say it was himself) I won't go on about it as it could sound like excuses but I would observe it is the 'experts' who have had more problem as they assume it is the same as every other arm. Also that with the release of the 'Series B' arms (That I haven't talked about here) a few months ago, I believe this has addressed pretty much all the objections raised (short of having a removable [resonant] headshell) The changes in brief -Plastic protractor -Micro adjustable sled for overhang -Turning round the rear weight mountign so less of a juggle to change balance plates -Mountign supplied pre-assembled.
