From various audio forums it appears the scion to Koetsu, Fumihiko Sugano passed away August 21.
Mainstream media has been silent.
There is another Sugano brother but it is unknown whether he will take up the reins.
Anyone still using a Koetsu cartridge ?
I've had a few but it was the amazing Sumiko Blue Point Special that showed me how far affordable cartridges had come.
