Placed an order online about a month ago. Tried to email to confirm the order, no one replied. Went to the store, was told system was wrong and had to wait 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, emailed and txted them, no one replied.
Called today, was told wait until next week or could get refund. REALLY? After putting customer waiting for a month without a single response, it's just me keeping calling and calling, simply say one word "refund"? Worst experience ever had, shame I recommended their product to friends and they made purchases.

it's not just you.
about 18 months ago a friend bought a bargain priced onkyo avr from them.
of course it died (hdmi board), spares for repairs were said to be about six months away ! a replacement avr is also dying from the same affliction. very poor communication and after sales service.
so much hassle for a $300 avr !

Well, my Onkyo had an HDMI problem too. Avalon shipped me a replacement PCB to fit myself, as I said that I was capable of doing the work myself. I found their service to be very good. Sorry to hear that others haven't had the same experience.

Ok, someone finally called me back and I went to the store second time on Wednesday, no products yet and another month wait. And I haven't seen refund on account as promised.!!!

Only after I threatened to send emails to KEF HQ and fair go tv, they refunded me. That's after multiple times of trying to get refund as they promised. I will definitely avoid them in the future.
