Hi - can anyone recommend someone who would be happy to recap a Mission Cyrus 2 amplifier. I have two amps to do and one full capacitor set. While I can do a bit of soldering, this is too much for me. Plus one of the voltage regulators has the trace pulled away from the board, so needs someone with a bit of experience. Thank you.

I don't know where you are based. In my local Christchurch area, I would recommend Phil Roberts who repairs ARC gear for Soundline (although I think he is retiring shortly) or Chris Phillips of The Audio Workshop - Aotearoa Amplification 61 Canterbury Street Rangiora ph 0210626 126 [e-mail]. If you are nearer to Auckland or Wellington, this is probably of no use to you, sorry.

Hi Greg and RdM - I am in Tauranga but have been able to get back in contact with a reliable person that I have used before, so my immediate needs have been sorted - but I would still be interested to know of anyone suitable in top-half of North Island, if you know one.
