Of course I want one!
But where do you get them from?
US$200 is about the same price as a new Sound Burger was in the 80's (RRP NZ$300, inflation adjusted about $1000!).

Looking at (& expanding) the product page specs, it uses the common denominator SBC Bluetooth codec.
I had to do a refresh of my codec knowledge:
I like Startpage now as my default search engine. They seem to leverage Google but don't track. I had to change the default method from post to get (or vice versa?) in preferences/settings to get the tab to show the search on hover. I stripped though the immediately added client & etc. info from the above link. It still works.
A nice fun piece though.

Yeah, I saw that and he's probably right.
But then I won't have the fancy Ltd Edition badge. 🤣

AV World is now taking pre-orders (due Jan 2023). They have 9 left.
I am remaining resolute and resisting!

Techmoan says be patient, it will probably return as a regular production model. And so it is. "The response to the 60th anniversary limited-edition model of the Sound Burger portable turntable was nothing less than extraordinary," said Gary Boss, director of marketing, Audio Technica US. "We heard loud and clear the frustration of those who hoped to buy one of these turntables but were unable to do so. While the new model coming in the spring will not feature the 60th anniversary numbered badge, colour and packaging of the limited-edition version, it will be more widely accessible. "We hope Sound Burger fans will be just as excited about this new model and that it will inspire the next generation of analogue enthusiasts." No info on pricing as of yet cf Ltd Edition £199/AU$360/NZ$499
