This looks to be a promising upgrade from the LS50 family!
Floorstanding, so likely no need for a sub or subs.
"KEF's LS60 Wireless is available in three matte finishes: Titanium Grey, Mineral White and Royal Blue.
All of the finishes feature tone-matched drive units and detailing and are priced at $9,995 RRP in Australia when released in June 2022."

Is there a pop-out slot for me vinyl? ;D

Shades of slot-load optical drives! (I remember slide-out tray turntables, but did anyone manufacture slot-load LP players?)
However from the blurb, not that I wish to be an advertiser, just relaying what I thought interesting;-
"Moreover, should you want to connect your CD player, games console or turntable to the KEF LS60 Wireless, you can, thanks to optical, coaxial, and RCA sockets."
Of course you'd need your own turntable and phono stage preamplifier. Or line out from existing amp? Anyway, I just thought interesting.
I have a fairly non-technical but artistic and creative friend in Raglan with his own house, being renovated, who is going to need a new system from the ground up, sometime soon. At the moment he's on tiny PC speakers and a Mac laptop in a medium sized lounge. So I look out for things. I had thought of electrostatic, or other panel speakers, too. But then they would need amplifiers and further sources as well.
Life goes on ... ;=})

And of course that would want toward short RCA cables to a preamp, system, whatever, which leads to that altar of HiFi between the speakers thing. Which I'm not a fan of, and neither would he/they be. Better long speaker leads than signal level cables? I have my gear in a front corner alcove.
Imagine if the gear was in the back of the room, the speakers in front.
Perhaps a little HF drop off from cable capacitance? I ran ~20+metres signal cable the length of my old apartment, amp in each room, noticed a little HF loss. It was still enjoyable to have the feed. But ideal?

I see Darko has a couple of pages, along with other hifi mag reviews.
(which is a teaser - he'll review sound quality in a few weeks, he says.)
But - and reading books avidly, I do discover typos in even reputable publishers hard back books, left alone self-published soft covers, sometimes note and write to them - I was a bit surprised to see this obvious glaring measurement depiction error on Kefs own page about them ... clearly wrong. Darko put the depth at 32cm, width 13cm, stands add another ~7cm. That would look about right. ( I am surprised that they're so slim, and that they weigh 30+kg each!)
But Kef have clearly got it wrong in their own promotional web page, 13 x 16 cm. Hello !
That's obviously not 13 x 16 cm. 13 x 32 cm might be more like it.
I can't be bothered writing to them tonight, I still have a headache ;-
As I note, there are a few other spruiks out on the web with review copies. I think they are interesting. Maybe my friend might be interested, although they'll be 10-12k a pair here likely.
I'm going to get my Sony G333ES surrounds replaced as soon as my own ship comes in...

But Kef have clearly got it wrong in their own promotional web page, 13 x 16 cm. Hello ! Aren't they just showing that the width of the new Kefs are less wide than an iPhone is long ?? - I don't think they are commenting there on the depth. Certainly a drool-worthy new product.

Certainly an acquired taste from a aesthetic perspective.

I'd thought it was intended to be - maybe even the underside, since there's a ventilation outlet above the electronics panel in the rear. (The top badge seems rectangular.)
And since the electronics sit in their own enclosure at the bottom, there are probably plenty of ventilation slots underneath.
OK, an iPhone. There are only two candidates - the current flagship iPhone 13 Pro MAX, and the iPhone 12 pro max, both 16.08 cm.
Thanks.

"Hi-Fi News Verdict It's hard to fault the LS60 Wireless, outside of its absence of any room correction platform. KEF's slim speaker really does perform like a compact version of the Blade(s), without the hassle of hunting for matching sources or amplification. The modern looks and integrated approach might put off traditional hi-fi buffs, but the LS60 Wireless is true high fidelity for people who just want to enjoy their music." www.hifinews.com/content/kef-ls60-wireless-loudspeaker

I had the pleasure of listening to a pair of these in Newmarket this afternoon, at
Once we got some piano bass drums jazz trio going, and I got him to toe them in a bit - not quite enough IMO, though - the soundstage opened up, and they seemed really quite competent! Also listened to KEF R11 (on sale at $5,499) via a Hegel amp but I wasn't so impressed.
And I got to hear a gold pair of Devialet Phantom I in another room, pretty amazing seeing them pumping and an utterly inert cabinet. Quite loud levels possible. Could have listened more.
Overall I think I liked the KEF LS60 the best.

Thanks for that.
They're definitely on my radar; just don't have a room to put them in.
Never thought I'd like wireless speakers, but I have both the LS50W2 and later the LSX original.
The 50s are running thru either wired network connections or coaxial SPIF, but I've heard them running wireless too, and was more than happy with them.
The LSXs have only been running wireless (because I've been too lazy to run a network cable to them) but they are really awesome wee performers.
I think I'm in danger of becoming a KEF Fanboy.
