He makes a lot of sense.
If most are digital at some stage, then may as well keep it as such and not lose more info transferring to another format.
Time to sell my turntables and vinyl, and stick to streaming in high res.

I'd say no. Not all LP's made it to CD. Not all are sourced from digital.
You've enjoyed them so far... why not have both?
And as one of the comments pointed out, you don't know what the stream was sourced or mastered from.
OTOH, as we all age and contemplate mortality ... where are they going to go to? Relatives, friends, record stores, trademe?
