Any fans of  Antipodes  Audio cables?  I don't think Mark is even making these anymore but I liked my RCA interconnects. 

I have a couple of his cables and they sound very good.

Pretty sure he doesn't do these any more.

The only "complaint" I would m make is that depending on what model you've got, they can have rather large plugs which don't fit all systems.

And they can be rather "delicate", as I've had a couple that needed re-terminating.


PS. Which I should add, were done free of charge, even though they were secondhand!

I've used the Katipo and Komako for quite a few years,only recently selling most of them .Still have one Komkako pair which I had to repair.The Komako's are more open/cleaner/detailed sounding than the cheaper Katipos, which are still great cables.

The large plugs and long heatshrink/protection behind the plugs are a pain though! Have gone to Supra EFF-ISL cables which are a bit less edgy in the treble,not quite as tight in the bass ( a bit fuller sounding). And better at bending behind my gear.So I can push the amp back further.

But certainly loved the Komkako's affect on the sound. Cables don't make a sound do they!

I've had a pair of Komako I bought off Mark ages ago which have remained in their box waiting for the day I needed them. I pulled them out recently for my new system ... and I can't fit plugs in! Was so looking forward to burning them in :-)

I've had other Antipodes cables and really like them. Thought about putting the Komako back on the shelf for another decade... or next amp change ... which ever comes first.

Mark re-terminated some  speaker  cables for me... that  were not even Antipodes cables!  Top guy!

I have just bought some second hand interconnects. Have even compared them with Nordost cables and both myself and a friend both thought the Antipodes went better in my system.

I have Komako and Katipo interconnects/digital cables, along with Chord Co Anthem. I prefer them to the Nordost Red Dawn cables I had previously. The Nordost were a little lean sounding in my system at the time, and had too big an influence on the sound. The Antipodes were somewhat similar - fast and revealing, but more balanced. Mark is a very cool guy to deal with too!

Thank you all for the comments. If anybody has some Antipodes RCA interconnects that are 2m or longer and are willing to sell I would be eager to purchase.
