Downside/compromise seems to be
- fixed counterweight, non-adjustable vta so although not impossible you're stuck with the OM10 cart. But can swap stylii easily to upgrade to OM 20 etc.
- Fixed rca cable. But I suppose 99% of the buyers of this TT wouldn't even think of changing either the cart or cable.
- Non-adjustable feet, so levelling the TT difficult if not on an absolutely flat surface
- Might be a difficult sell when compared to Project's manual tables at the same price.
But looks like its a good choice if you are after a fully automatic turntable, no doubt with familiar Pro-ject sound quality and build, that's plug and play.
