I've been following this guy on Instagram for a while, I like what he's been doing and enjoyed the interview.
I've been considering building a set of his bookshelf speakers, sourcing the drivers myself and replicating the cabinet.

All I see are two visually challenging speakers, too far apart.
 Recently I've heard two horn systems with the speakers so far apart that there was no central imaging, even with a mono source. Is that the norm ?

I watched both videos. Presenter managed to sound both a self-important and circumlocutious. Woodworking skills also seems a bit average.
