Nope. Still not going to buy a Project. This one is for the true Beatles tragics I suspect!

Apparently there's over 1000 SKU's from Project now... any excuse to expand to keep the money people happy. It's not about better sound anymore, it's about increasing the number of retailers / offerings on-line.

I did - in particular a vertical turntable that takes the concept of quality sound and throws it out the window in order to make a 'talking point'... The basic recipe for the range is...*
Black plinth MDF platter Alloy platter Alloy platter with a better cart Alloy platter with a carbon arm Alloy platter with a carbon arm and a better cart Alloy platter with a carbon arm, a better cart, USB recording Acrylic platter with a carbon arm, a better cart Acrylic platter with a carbon arm, a better card, USB recording.
Red plinth MDF platter Alloy platter Alloy platter with a better cart Alloy platter with a carbon arm Alloy platter with a carbon arm and a better cart Alloy platter with a carbon arm, a better cart, USB recording Acrylic platter with a carbon arm, a better cart Acrylic platter with a carbon arm, a better card, USB recording.
White plinth MDF platter Alloy platter Alloy platter with a better cart Alloy platter with a carbon arm Alloy platter with a carbon arm and a better cart Alloy platter with a carbon arm, a better cart, USB recording Acrylic platter with a carbon arm, a better cart Acrylic platter with a carbon arm, a better card, USB recording.
All retailers get access to the black, one gets access to the red, another to the white... It's not about increasing audio quality, it's about shoehorning as many turntables into as many retailers as possible. Hence the MusicHall turntables, the Cambridge, Crosley, Thorens and Klipsch branded Projects (some have different plinths to be fair).
*Note this varies, obviously but it isn't a mile off
