Since nobody else has mentioned it, I'll make a start...
Talk on National Radio of 8mm film concert footage discovered, sound synced by others:
I'm amazed that someone could even purport to have synced up these fleeting images with the sound, but it's claimed they have.
Interesting to read the comments.
I was there too, 19 going on 20 later that year.
I was with friends maybe half way up the back steps, so quite a distance away, but the sound was like a giant hi-fi system, loud, pure, undistorted.
And great preamble music before they came on, I thought for years unreleased Santana mistakenly, but recently discovered it was the Allman Brothers' live double album.
A few other references and reviews ...
(read the comments!)
(I think I'd like to get a copy - er, an original bought version, it's supposedly rare - of that)
(then there's also mention of a lesser? this?)
Another reference
but the download link is gone. I did find years ago a really bad sounding tape, hence interested in talk, writing, of better versions.
Was anybody else here there?
