DISCOGS is 20 years old - (DISCOGS website)

Quite a few use the DISCOGS database and/or for cataloguing music, but how many use DISCOGS Marketplace for buying / selling records or CDs?

Ive bought a couple of hard to find things through there (Jellyfish, Terry Melcher), but mainly use it for research purposes.

I seem to have purchased fifteen items and been happy that all have matched description.

Good place to pick up some 90s European releases that didn't appear elsewhere.

If I was selling my rarer digital items I'd use them . Problem with lps and box sets is freight. Hate to think what the Paramount Records sets or the big Complete Smiths would cost to Europe or the USA.

I buy from Discog sellers every few months, usually ones that are no longer available elsewhere.

Postage costs rule out a lot of sales, especially for single albums. But at least the shipping costs are more transparent than they used to be, as they now have to be stated upfront.
