Well ... I'm surprised that I can't even give these away! Lots of good reviews, articles etc. I'll wait 2-3 days more to see if anyone is interested and if not I'll bin them :-(, which seems a waste.Pickup is from Avondale, West Auckland.

Hi Tony, if you can wait until end of May I can pick up and take them off your hands.  I live in Mangonui, but am pet sitting for my sister in Hobsonville from the 26th May for two weeks.  Lucky girl is off on a trip to Alaska!

Stereos in 1013 were a rarity and highly sought after.  There were, for example, the Luxman Twins, two beautiful identical twins lassies who stood a few feet in front of you - left and right - and sang.  You could have them point their toes at you (known to this day as 'toed in') and that would enhance the stereo effect.  Lovely, lovely sound.  The Bose twins were not identical and sang for poorer families.  But even so they were considered better than a mono singer.  Of course, if you will permit me to go off topic: There were the Jackson Five, one of whom always tried to sing 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' - his favourite song.  These five gave you more than stereo in 1013 - they surrounded you with sound.
