Turning a RASPBERRY Pi into a music streamer + music server with: - 'Gapless' playback - Virtual 'Squeezebox Touch' style music player - ROON-alternative music library interface - Mobile device (or Raspberry Pi Touchscreen) as remote control - 'Offline' capability for out-of-house streaming - Software is FREE - All up for a 'crazy-cheap price' (Euro 50-150) See DARKO report. And DARKO 5 more thoughts.

He's just a noise. He pissed off most of his followers on Facebook over the last few months with endless provacative posts and then a very questionable rape joke. Got unfollowed big time after that.

Sorry, I do my best not to support FB/Zuckerberg. Are Darko's views on audio questionable, do you think? (Aside from his Kallax-Fi obsession )

The general opinion behind the scenes is that there is a lot of ego behind his activity. I know people who know him directly from Oz.

You know that pretty much anyone who is anyone in audio is active on there? And there are many specialist interest groups? (just like forums)

Yup, I've had an account for way too long I think. Aside from Zuckerberg, the ads are getting super irritating. No one younger than 35 is on FB.

Darko is rated by many in the industry both in NZ and Australia - however if his opinions don't mesh with the way someone sees the HiFi industry, then he is disliked. It's obvious stuff really.
Also, who cares about ego, anyone who is featuring in an online channel is 'about the ego'.

why bother to setup a page if it's not going to be maintained ?

The Allo Digi-One is also getting a lot of positive publicity - to be used together with the Raspberry Pi.
