For SENNHEISER's 75th Anniversary, they are producing a Limited Edition of their HD 25, ultra lightweight (140g), 'Pro / DJ', high sensitivity, durable closed-back headphone - but 'randomly' supplied with stock-limited yellow ear-pads in addition to black pads & priced at 100 bucks! (US$99.95 - down from US$149.95.) Steve Guttenberg AUDIOPHILIAC thinks that they're a pretty, pretty good deal for the money

At US$100 (NZ$150) down from $150, an absolute bargain. NZ site has RRP $370 down to $260
Also, if you buy then they say its a lottery if you get the yellow 75th edition or just the plain black version.
"For those who buy our HD 25 in June: Who knows, you might be one of our lucky owners of the Limited Edition HD 25 with additional classic Sennheiser style yellow earpads and retro logo print, which are shipped randomly while supplies last."
I've owned this headphone in HD 25-I mk II version, and liked it a lot. It could be listened to for many hours as it was non fatiguing (rolled of treble). The downside is that its not the most resolving HP. Bass was good, more prominent than neutral, and not overly blown. Great for electronica.
I found it quite tight on my relatively small head, but after a bit of stretching the headband was quite comfortable long term. Being able to swivel one earpiece off the ear was great for when you wanted to converse.
