Does anyone know a NZ-based toroidal transformer winder? (And someone happy to do a one-off.) We need one for Jeremy's next DIY project - a 'gainclone' amp. We need ~300VA, 2 x 0-22v. garym? Are the PureAudio toroids (or Plinius for that matter) wound by someone here in NZ?

Just saw the question. We use Noratel which is a UK company with factories in South East Asia. I'm pretty sure Perreaux use them too, and Plinius certainly do. They're a very good company and the product is excellent. No one off or off the shelf models though.

An update: TWS Energy Services in ChCh will do one-off toroidal transformers but only in larger, industrial sizes, unfortunately. A 300VA toroidal transformer has been sourced from TorTech Pty in outer Sydney - they happened to have a suitable one in old stock. Arrived today:
