Hi tonyd - tell us a bit about the components - eg the tube amps - they look like Thöress 300B monos. Zu speakers? Indeed, Thoress 300B monoblocks, with a Thoress preamp on the shelf above them. The speakers are Musical Affairs Grand Crescendo speakers with PHY 30cm full range drivers (currently listed on TradeMe).
A Townshend Allegri passive pre and Schiit Aegiir also share these speakers via a Beresford switch.
Sources are Antipodes CX/EX servers, iFi and Border Patrol DACs,and the Garrard 401.
The inner speakers are Spendor Classic 3/1, used with Shindo preamp and monoblocks, a Thorens TD124 and Garrard 301. This combo is also used for TV and DVD sound.
There is also a trusty Quad 99 CD/DAC which has been a very versatile piece of equipment, acting as a DAC for the DVD and Bluray units as well as doing CD duty.
I have been and still am going through a downsizing phase which is why the very excellent Grand Crescendo speakers are for sale.

What a lovely collection of classic idlers!!! Very cool. You've certainly amassed a veritable Aladdin's treasure cave of other wonderful gear as well. Thanks for sharing!

I have to ask, do you have a favourite child amongst your record players? I am sorely tempted by that tidy looking 401 on TM.

The one on TradeMe looks particularly good, especially for an early model. They are also easy to maintain and refurbish, not that that one looks as if it needs any work.
