Technics is the brand name of hi-fi audio products owned by Panasonic Corporation. Panasonic has assets of 54.5 billion U.S. dollars. That is why Technics can make the SL-1200G cheaper than anybody. I like to suggest the next Technics turntable, the SL-1200G with no tonearm to save money. Buy your own or make your own tonearm.
