sometimes i can and sometimes i can't. just now i have tried to tag owen, but despite my best efforts, something changes the capital o to lower case when i press the save changes button.

i have been typing @ and then with no space typing the username. is there an easier way?

Still haven't worked how to do this. If I type in member's user name, it just stays in black type and does not change to blue!

sub - you are doing it right.
However a few members have forum display name different from their registration name - in these cases you need to tag the latter.

eg The forum system has made my registration name 'admin' (not 'Owen Y') & so to tag me, you need to tag 'admin'.
