Hi folks,
I have just started down the journey back into HIFI again, 
with a bit of advice from yall in the hifi forum i have aquired the following setup :

polk LS90 floorstanders
onkyo 301 pre amp
onkyo m501 power amp
cambridge audio dacmagic plus

im really looking for a turntable to just get started to see if i want to get onboard with the vinyl renaissance 
there are a heap of refurbed old ones on trademe such as :

or do i want to be spending around the $3-400 mark new  such as the marley deck here :

my biggest concern is that im going to end up with somethign that will sound terrible on my setup and then ill be putoff and will get a bad impression of how it should sound. 
should i just be shelling out $700ish for an entry level but decent deck ?

Firstly id steer clear of that TM seller. He has 2 TM profiles, one where he buys decks and the other where he sells them on. He bought a deck from me cheaply that was a total shitheap, did SFA to it and sold it on. The arm on the deck was essentially stuffed, when I queried him about how he managed to fix it he said he didnt...

For an experienced user that wouldnt be such an issue, but for someone starting out with vinyl with no experience of turntables that would be a total buzz killer.

Maybe ask Graham on this site if he has anything he has suitable, and I know Sub had a nice Yamaha DD he was looking at selling. Worth while spending a bit extra to buy a good quality deck from a known and trusted source imo. I may have one of my clients trading in a deck soon, drop me a PM and ill do some research on it for you.
