I think I might know (or know of) this L-07D seller, from way back Good sounding apparently, but rare (with working electronics). Jon Marks, editor of HiFi World back in the 90s, sold his fully tweaked SP-10MkII/SME V/Obsidian base for a Trio L-07D, IIRC.

same seller listed it back in 2015, $2k start, reached $4110, res was $4500
looks like he didn't do a deal with the highest bidder.

Yeah I think I know the seller of the Kenwood too. I dont think he is a genuine seller, iirc he has listed this at least 3x in recent memory. He seems to be just fishing for bids, I dont know why ? AFAIK its the only TT he has...

Pretty sure Grant is legit... he bought my Naim 72/hicap/250 amps last year.
No seller fees for listing on Saturday, I guess that prompted a few unusual re-listings. It’ll never sell in NZ for that price, but someone might pick it up on hifishark?
Was I the only one who lusted after that Roksan TMS (Touraj Moghaddam Statement) on TM last week?! I can’t believe it only reached $2.2k... now THAT is a whole lot of super-deck for (relatively) not much dosh. 🤑

Had my eye on that Roksan too.

Yes the no fees thing on TM had me clearing out my pile of unused bits too. Only recent purchase is of a systemdek 11x which I bought off another member here. Currently awaiting refurbishment and the fitting of an arm. Will probably also result in the rearrangement of my room yet again to accomodate it.

Is the Kenwood missing the headshell ? Remember the pics from the last listing.

The Kenwood L07D is a nice turntable... prices are holding well. I paid $3200.00 back in 1982 ( I think, so long ago now ) with all the accessories. Good old Peter Gilbert imported Kenwood at the time.

fyi... some excerpts from the last time this was listed, dec. 2015
Will judge response to auction and interest before committing to sale. Thinking would be good if LO7D stayed in NZ.
Do you have the headshell for the arm? don1958 (2 2 positive feedback) 2:12 pm, Sat 12 Dec A. Yes. But not sure if it's the original. Came with the turntable when purchased. Magnesium if i remember. Will check it today. 1:28 pm, Sun 13 Dec Does it come with the original tone arm headshell? Thanks. lozz1nz (311 311 positive feedback) 10:52 pm, Sat 12 Dec A. Hmmm... that seems a little 'non-informative' to me. I have seen L-07D tonearms missing original headshell - including mine. The original L-07D headshell (labelled HS-07J), like the TT design in general, was something a bit special - (The arm tube was similarly carbon/boron fibre multi-layered over aluminium.)
