Hi Guys, not sure where to post this so used 'Others'
I have a request/favour to ask of anyone travelling between Auckland and Palmerston North/ Feilding in the next few days or weeks.
To briefly summarise an unhappy saga, I sold a restored Dual 1229 to Dr Warren Nicholls in Feiding back in December.
In spite of very careful packaging including double boxing, NZ Couriers managed to damage it. In fact the nature of the damage indicates it had been dropped from a great height and landed upside down.
NZ Couriers returned it to me and I have repaired it using locally sourced parts and some that had to come from Germany. They have grudgingly accepted an insurance claim and it is now ready to go back to Feilding.
However the good doctor is now naturally nervous about using ANY courier to return it to him so I am trying to arrange an alternative delivery method.
Therefore my long shot request is to ask if any of you fine gentlemen is prepared to deliver it for me. It is boxed up again so can be safely stowed in the boot.
Cheers
Graham
PS - Don't panic Robert. I think we were very unlucky to have used a dickhead courier driver ! I have never had turntables damaged in transit before.
