(Aside from the new Technics DDs, there was more notable TT news from CES 2019.... )
Available in April 2019, the Cambridge Audio ALVA turntable features:
ie. "The Alva turntable plays a record and wirelessly sends the signal to Bluetooth-enabled wireless headphones or amplifier at 48kHz/24-bit resolution" - something undoubtedly designed to appeal to Millennial buyers.
What Hi-Fi reports that "the turntable has been designed and built in-house... the single piece tonearm and is fitted with Cambridge-designed high output moving coil cartridge.".
(I could be wrong but both look rather-Rega to me )
US$1700 with cartridge (£1500)
