A solid wood (apple possibly, or cherry?) Vinylista plinth with top plate cut for Garrard 301. The top plate was drilled for a Schick 12" tonearm. The plinth is in very good condition with a couple of shallow dings along the front edge, not through the finish, that I have tried to show on attached pictures.

The plinth comes with a custom plexi cover made by Sora in Germany (http://www.sora-shop.com/), also in very good condition.

Dimensions: 640mm x 480mm x 130mm (it's big!).

Price for plinth and cover: NZ$1150. Pickup preferred, although we can discuss shipping or delivery within upper half of North Island.

You can find information about Vinylista plinths, including pricing for a new plinth, at www.vinylista.de/. The plinths are highly regarded and very well made. I believe it would be possible to purchase a different top plate if required for a Garrard 401 or Thorens TD124, price around EU135 plus shipping.

I've not heard one, but the nice thing about Vinylista's philosophy is his concept of 'contolled mass', ie recognition that too much mass will store energy & be detrimental to music signal.
