Not a bad price, cheap possibly, as many rate the MR67 sonically above the later MR71. Looks clean, shiny chrome, little pitting & complete with wood case. Audio Classics is probably the best price guide for these vintage tuners: www.audioclassics.com/detail?detail=MR67&nav=catSo good buying at that NZD price & condition. Better value, it seems, than the more higher priced MR71.

I think you got your MR71 from the same fellow as me... 25+ years ago? With the wooden pan-loc case, it wouldn’t have been far off that recent auction price either.
I was really interested in your McIntosh tuner refurbishment thread. Time certainly marches on, and my example is probably well due for a proper fettling.
I figure the original NZ seller is retired from service” now. Can you recommend a tech for valve fm tuners? Colinf ?
