Bascom H. King has designed (mostly SS) amps for Marantz, Infinity Systems, Conrad Johnson & now the 'BHK Signature' range for PS Audio.

Nice one Owen! Enjoyed very much. As a trial lawyer I have a highly tuned BS meter. It did not go near the red zone :->

Hahaha, I think with those hyper-large scale, wide-bandwidth & no doubt highly resolving Infinity IRS loudspeakers that his pal Arnie Nudell had, distortion etc would be highly objectionable & MOSFETs or tube may have been a more complementary match. (A guess here.)
