Agree totally, the L07 guy is a local and I think that like last time he is just fishing for offers, i dont quite know why ? Perhaps some sort of insecurity complex coupled with mental health issues....

L07D's are highly sort after, and prices are generally around the NZ$5k plus mark internationally.
NZ sales are around the $4k mark, so I really don't think his asking price is way off!  Turntable prices seem to have risen proportionately along with the rise in software prices

Yup, he'd be more successful selling it overseas - USD4k seems to be asking price & it is rare.
Not to mention the Disc Outer Stabiliser ring. However it appears that the original L-07D headshell (multi-layered anti-resonance design) is missing from the tonearm. In Japan, it seems to be almost unobtainium. DarkLantern blog - darklanternforowen.wordpress.com

I think its a much better buy than this $4010 Gsrrard 401, SME3012-S2 that is using the relist at same or higher price tactic

The 401 on Tm right now is way tooooo expensive. Its far from excellent condition by the photos in my book. Kenwood is wonderful but as Owen has stated repairs may be an issue
