I've had a pre-amp sitting in Auckland awaiting customs clearance for a week with no contact from NZ Post, does anyone know of the correct incantation, special handshake or even a phone number that I can use to find out what is going on?

Hi Mike..
I think we all feel your pain! Ive had several dealings with Customs and its never an easy task. Before anything will move you will need a reference number. You must have some sort of tracking number to know its at Customs?

Hi Andrew
Yep I have a tracking number and I have phoned NZ Post who say it is up to Customs and when I checked with Customs they say it is up to Post...
Apparently I should receive a letter at some stage to tell me what I have done and I guess that will provide me with the reference number. Thank you for that bit of info, it's more then I have got from either Customs or Post.

The Post operator lied to me and it has only just been released... So earliest here is tomorrow afternoon with a tail wind.
I will probably do a quick piccie etc. when I‘ve had a good play
