OK, looks like I've drawn a blank looking for a Linn Valhalla circuit board so I have 'plan b'. Does anyone have a ProJect Speed Box they are willing to part with ?? I know they only output 16 volts AC but I have a cunning plan to deal with that ! Cheers

Pretty sure you could devise a 16vac PSU, yourself Graham?

They're about $250 new, so how much would it cost you to build one yourself? I couldn't even start to imagine how to make one, so I'm quite happy keeping mine!

The cheap & nasty way would be one of these: Switch mode being the worst.

Alternatively you might go for something much beefier, like this: Which is what Graham already had, IIRC. Bearing in mid that these supply just 16v raw AC to the TT motor. Nothing like a Valhalla, which generates an AC sine wave - although some prefer the sound of pre-Valhalla'd LP12s

I'm currently powering my Oracle Delphi with a DIY Geddon Clone and am very happy with the performance. However this only proves one speed (33.33 ) and I am looking at ways to provide the 2 speeds that the Oracle originally had with its overly complicated and unreliable dc papst motor. It's not vitally urgent or even necessary but is something I would like to do as a project. As mentioned in a previous post, my Papst motor died so I have very successfully repowered the Oracle with a new Thorens synchronous motor. It is dead quiet and provides rock steady rpm on the 75 volts ac from the Geddon. I should be satisfied with this but you know how it goes !!!

First one from UK is a bit expensive when freight added. Second one from UK is at the same stage as the one from Spain, still waiting for response from seller as to possibility and cost of freight. The Valhalla board is 240 or 120 volts, a fuse is moved on the board to select input voltage.

It's always worth asking the seller re shipping. Usually they will ship other places not included on the listing but don't add it as Ebay's calculator is hopeless.
