A couple of new releases at what I consider sort of reasonable prices..
Bert Jansch- A Man I'd rather Be(part 1) reissue of his first 4 solo lps by Earth Records. While I do have originals of his 2nd and 3rd lps this set works out around NZ$73 at current pricing on Amazon Uk.Good Value as Earth seem to do a good job with their reissues. Jansch was a big influence on Neil Young , Johnny Marr and Jimmy Page which says a lot.

Country Joe and the Fish- Wave of Electrical Sound. 4xlp reissue of their first two lps in both mono and stereo plus a bonus dvd, the Fish board Game etc. It doesn't appear that the included booklet will it'll match the amount of information in the recent cd reissues however.
Best price I've found so far is Amazon Japan but I did have a bundle of bonus points to use there. Import Cds pricing is around the same . Amazon Uk has the set listed not no ability to pre order as yet.

Jethro Tull- Heavy Horses. This continues the well reviewed Tull reissue series in the now familiar book format. This series really shows how a reissue can be done with multiple discs, including heaps of bonus material, live shows, copious informative notes, 5.1 surround sound and 96/24 PCM stereo at a bargain price. Disc one is yet another Steven Wilson remix of the original album and should add to the positive reaction to his work with Tull. I lost touch with JT after Thick As A Brick so the later reissues in the series have been a real journey of discovery for me.
