Hi Guys,
For those interested Elusive Disc are having a huge sale on used cartridges. From what I can gather these are trade in carts that have been tested and inspected and declared fit for resale.

"Fully tested and inspected" "Certified pre-owned" So what? What were the results? The pedant in me says I can fully test, inspect and certify a pre-owned dead cart too! No where does it mention what the actual condition is, or how much life there's left in them. I can only assume that it means that it works.

I've been pretty lucky with used carts.
Apart from when I paid $20 for two stylii where one had an obviously bent cantilever and the other had no stylus - naively bought from someone (who shall remain nameless) with no guarantee.
I took a punt and lost...

I too have been lucky with used carts but then I've only ever bought 2, both from a guy I know. I'd have to agree with Citroens comments on these ones though. Not worth the money IMO.

Almost all my MC carts have been s/h. All have been quite expensive carts, however all from friends or at least audio acquaintances. I've never bought any s/h carts by post or online - ie. from complete strangers Only twice bought a new MC cartridge (as I recall).
