I'd need a very substantial breakfast before attempting that lot. On the upside, the Dutch will have the vinyl sorted for browsing effectiveness. Ahoy Klaatu...when your ship next berths in Holland and coincides with such a fair, we at DL could all 'chip-in' and hire a (temp controlled) container and fill it with our vinyl purchases? A small supervision fee to you to ensure the container arrives back to Aoteoroa safely. Reminds me of a 'bucket list' sortie: I've promised Cooksferry that when I win a 'Big' lotto - we're off around the pacific rim - 'gathering' vinyl and exotic hifi gear - Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, then the west coast of Canada, USA...

My lovely lady is threatening to sent me on a trip to Japan for my next birthday. I think it'd take more than wild horses to get me onto a long haul flight now.

When I travel I like to be able to stop when I feel like and go for a good stroll. Until they find a way to wing walk at 30,000 feet I'm out.

Planes are a bit better these days - smoother. quieter, faster, better entertainment, even food.....also the aforementioned noise cancelling devices

If you turn left at the top of the boarding tunnel it's a lot more pleasant...

There's a huge difference in price even between business and cattle class. First class is more expensive again but apparently is the only way to fly: Once you've turned left you'll never turn right again apparently. Flying first class to a record fair to buy 2nd hand LP's ?

Be a right bugger if you got there and couldn't find anything on your want list.
