Price stickers abound on many jewel cases, especially on The Warehouse ones.  What is best  method of removing them?

Just been working on one jewel case plastered with four stickers - scraped them off with a fine edged scraper, but that left unsightly glue marks.  Tried meths, but that didn't work, so tried turps.  

Well that worked to a degree, in that it loosened the glue, but succeeded in spreading a thin layer of glue all,over the front of the case!  Then tried hot water and dishwash liquid, no change.  

If it was a simple jewel case, I would just use a new one, but this item is a DVD-A, and of course they are a different size, and I haven't seen empty replacements on sale anywhere.

don't scrape, don't use turps, both can damage the plastic

i use a liberal application of de-solv-it, a citrus based cleaner, available from any good hardware shop

let it soak for a few minutes and the sticker should come off with little effort.

reapply with a clean rag to wipe off glue residue.

it's oily so have a dry cloth to buff off any excess.

tip - take out the booklet first, in case the cleaner goes where it shouldn't...
