There's something vaguely comical about a couple of old wrinklies going at it in the back of a hearse ! Ouch! You're hitting on a sore spot there as I'm now on the wrong side of 35 and feeling every minute of it... Still acting like a teenager - but feeling every minute of it...

OK, MW put johnny out of his misery and tell him which one it is. Might help him regain some enthusiasm for putting his one back together again.

OK, MW put johnny out of his misery and tell him which one it is. Might help him regain some enthusiasm for putting his one back together again. lol the latest mk7.5 was the best car but the mk5 offered 80% of the capability for only 20% of the cost.

Yum. Thanks for posting MW. Looks like a beast too. I'll have to do some reading/lusting on it. I suspect the GM at work is considering buying one as he has sold his mk4 and given the mk5 to his wife...

if your GM is in the market, hold off for a few months until the seat range is re-launched in nz. the top model leon cupra offers golf r features and performance (albeit fwd) for less than a golf gti. looks nicer than a golf too www.seat.co.nz/carworlds/new-leon-cupra/overview.html

What platform is that based on MW ? I think SEAT in the past were FIAT based ?

seat is now part of the vw empire.
it uses same the mqb platform as the latest golf and small audis, skodas.
motor, gearbox and front axle are in the same place, reducing development and production costs.
flexible wheelbase allows for a variety of different models from hatchbacks and suvs, to commercials.
