seen it, to be brutal i thought it was a bit meh.
it's no senna (film) which drew in non-motor racing viewers.
this film is strictly for fans.
for another view of kiwis racing in the '60s try "trio at the top".

it was ok but devoid of any sense of drama.
we heard about how good a bloke mclaren was and his many sucesses and nothing else.
as simon morris/national radio surmised, this was more a testimonial than a serious documentary.

I thought the fact that Denny and Stefan(?) were compelled to continue the can-am, despite burnt hands was notable. The Senna doco showed someone who was slightly flawed, I thought.

the best heroes are flawed and the best bio-docos are the ones that show the darkness.
there was a better trailer made back in 2013 to celebrate 50 years of the mclaren racing team
